For the past week I have been trying out these creams, adding them to my daily skincare routine. These products are formulated to address the problems of dry skin and loss of collagen with a targeted approach that delivers intense moisturisation - now these creams are mainly aimed at people with mature skin but if you're young like me why not keep your skin looking young and healthy?!
I occasionally suffer from dry skin, that problem has gone since using the day cream. I've tried countless amounts of creams and potions but this one has really worked its magic. It's a little thicker than the night cream so you don't need to use a lot, I apply this after I've cleansed my face in the morning and later in the day before using the night one. For the days when I wear no make up, after a few hours of this cream being on I still feel and look fresh which I haven't found with other creams (they tend to wear off and my face feels oily). What's in this day cream?
Co-enzyme Q10 helps to protect the skin from damage by free radicals and promote effective skin cell repair. Dermatological studies in Germany showed Q10 can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time.
Pycnogenol contains bio-flavonoids to support collagen and skin cell production.
Jojoba Oil has great affinity with human skin and leaves a velvety, non-oily feel.
Apricol Kernal Oil is rich in vitamins E and A, plus fatty acids and is easily absorbed.
Squalane (from olive oil) helps prevent moisture loss and is ideal for damaged skin.
Then in the evening I use the night cream after washing my face, I've never tried this sort of product before so I wasn't sure what to expect but boy oh boy my face was so soft! This cream helps to regenerate your skin overnight so you feel refreshed in the morning - it certainly did this. So what's in this magical cream?
Sodium Hyaluronate - the ultimate skin moisturiser, it ensures intensive hydration while you sleep. Its water-retaining properties give your skin a softer and younger looking appearance in the morning.
Shea Butter - a naturally occurring fat from the nut of the karate tree. it's very similar to the sebum produced by the skin and therefore easily absorbed. Shea butter is moisturising, emollient and softening on the skin and it is so gentle that it has been traditionally used in Africa for baby massage.
Castor Oil - rich in ricinolecic acid, it locks in moisture in the skin very effectively and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles making it ideal for mature skin.
Overall I've been super impressed with these creams I'll definitely keep using them in my routine, they're affordable too at just £12.95 a pot. That's a lot cheaper than most day/night creams and they really do work. Some of the other benefits are that they're natural and paraben free, suitable for all skin types and for vegetarians too!
Will you be giving these a try?
